The End Result…
By completing this course you will be able to operate Side Loaders (also commonly known as Swing lifts) allowing containers to be self-loaded and unloaded.
Prerequisites/Requirements
Operators should have completed a full classroom based program before applying for the assessment as a refresher. Those able to show an existing “OSH” forklift operators certificate, will be permitted to complete the refresher process.Those with only F endorsements will be considered to be new trainees.The process for an “ab initio” training (new trainees) would be to complete the class room or online course and then complete the logbook activity which documents skill development and disciplines required and then a final practical assessment. A plastic card certificate will issued by CSL for each candidate on completion of the both “ab ignitio” and refresher courses.
Course Information
The Side Loader Course runs for a day which includes theory training in the morning and a practical session in the afternoon. On completion of this course successful participants will be presented with a Certificate of Competence.
